This here bag, they call it a Copy Fendi Vitello King F is Fendi Logo Embossed Mini Mon Tresor Bucket Bag Cuoio. Sounds like a mouthful, don’t it? But it’s just a fancy name for a purse, you know? One of them little ones.
Now, I ain’t one for fancy things. Give me a good sturdy sack any day. But I seen these young girls, they all carry these little things, all shapes and sizes. This Fendi one, it’s kinda like a bucket, they say. A mini bucket. Small enough, I reckon, you can’t fit much in it.
My old eyes ain’t what they used to be. But it is leather, that much I know. It feels kinda soft, I guess. And it’s got these F things all over it. They tell me that’s the Fendi logo. Big deal, I say.
I heard them say it’s a copy, a Fendi Copy. I guess that means it ain’t the real thing. Not that I know what the real thing is. They all look the same to me. But the young folks, they know. They say you gotta have the real one. And it costs a pretty penny, they tell me.

This Fendi bucket bag is small. Real small. Can’t fit much in there. Maybe some coins, a lipstick. What else do these young girls carry around anyway? Back in my day, we didn’t have all these little things. We just had our hands, and that was enough.
They say this bag is special, this Copy Fendi. Specialty store, they say. Sounds important. I guess that means it’s not from just any old store. I remember when the general store was the only store we had. You could get everything there. Now they got stores for everything. A store just for bags? Imagine that.
This leather, they call it Vitello King. I don’t know no king, but it sounds fancy. This bag, it’s all about being fancy, I suppose. Not practical, like my old feed sack. That thing could hold anything. This little bucket, not so much.
And this word, Cuoio. Another fancy word. I think it has something to do with the leather. They say Fendi, they make good leather. I hear they been doing it a long time, this Fendi bunch. Since way back when, before I was even born. So they must know a thing or two about leather.
They got all these names for things these days. Back in my day, a bag was a bag. Now it’s a Mon Tresor. What does that even mean? My treasure? I guess that’s what these young girls think. That their little bags are their treasures.
I seen some bags with fur on them. This one don’t have fur. Just leather. Plain and simple. Well, not so simple, I guess, with all them F’s on it. I guess that’s what makes it special. That Fendi logo.
It is brown, this bag. A good, solid brown. Like the earth. Like the fields after they been plowed. I like brown. It’s a good color. Doesn’t show the dirt as much. Important when you’re working outside all day. Not that these young girls do much of that anymore.
I reckon some folks like these Fendi bags. They like the name. They like the fancy. Me, I don’t see the fuss. But then again, I ain’t no fashion expert. I’m just an old lady who’s seen a thing or two in her life. And I seen a lot of changes. These fancy bags, they’re just another one of them changes, I suppose.

And to some folks, that’s everything. To me, it’s just another thing in this world that I don’t quite understand. But that’s okay. I got my own treasures. And they ain’t in no fancy bag. They are good.
Back in the day, we didn’t have no fancy stores. Just the general store, and that was good enough for us. Now they got stores for everything. A store just for bags? What will they think of next? This Fendi specialty store. I guess that’s where you get these fancy things.
I don’t know about these young folks and their treasures. To me, treasure is family. It’s good health. It’s a roof over your head and food on the table. That’s treasure. Not some little Fendi bucket bag. But hey, to each their own, I always say.
This Fendi copy bag, it is ok, I guess, for those that like that sort of thing. It is small. It is leather. It got them F’s. It is brown. If you like that, then good for you. Me, I’ll stick to my old ways. They’ve served me well all these years. And I don’t see no reason to change now. Not for no fancy bag, no sir. No matter how many F’s it’s got on it.
