Okay, so, I’ve been wanting a Fendi Spy bag for ages, like, forever. You know, the vintage leather one? It’s such a classic, and they’re kinda hard to come by these days. Anyway, I decided to finally take the plunge and hunt one down.
First, I scoured the internet. I checked out all the usual luxury consignment sites. I found a few listings, but the prices were all over the place. Some were super expensive, which I figured, but others were suspiciously cheap, and I definitely didn’t want to end up with a fake. It got me a little worried, to be honest.
Hunting on eBay
Then I headed over to eBay, because, why not? You can find anything on eBay, right? I typed “Fendi Spy Bag” into the search bar and scrolled through pages and pages of results.
- I saw a bunch of listings for the bag, some in pretty good condition.
- I compared prices and looked closely at the photos.
- I also made sure to read the seller’s feedback to see if they were legit.
There were a few that caught my eye, especially one that was listed as “Fendi Black Leather Hobo Spy Bag”. It looked really good in the pictures, and the price was decent, around $400. There was also another one listed as “Fendi Spy Bag Handbag Top” for $429.90. Both seemed like good options, and the sellers had good feedback.
The RealReal and Poshmark
I also checked out The RealReal, because I know they authenticate everything. I found a few Spy bags there, but they were a bit pricier than the ones on eBay. Still, it was good to have that option, just in case. I browsed Poshmark as well, but all I could find was one listed at $1. It looks like a joke.
After a lot of back and forth, I finally decided to go for one of the bags on eBay. I messaged the seller a few questions, just to be sure, and they responded quickly and were really helpful. I felt good about it, so I clicked “Buy It Now” and paid for the bag.
Waiting for My Bag
Now I’m just waiting for it to arrive! I’m so excited to finally have my hands on a Fendi Spy bag. I’ll definitely post some pics when it gets here. Wish me luck that it’s everything I dreamed of! I kept my fingers crossed the whole time it was in the mail.
It finally arrived! I tore open the package and there it was. It’s perfect, just as described, and I’m pretty sure it’s the real deal. I carried it around all day, and I’m so in love with it. It was definitely worth the hunt!
